Planting Day

Aid Afghanistan For Education Students learn about their responsibilities towards the environment that they live in. As part of their lesson, they planted flowers in pots. Each pot has a student’s name on it and the designated student is responsible to water and take care of her/his own flower. By assigning each student with the responsibility of taking care of their own flower, they learn the importance of nurturing and caring for living things. This activity also helps them develop a sense of ownership and pride in their work. They painted the flowerpots and the stand which was made by a carpenter at the school. Students helped making the stand as well. By involving students in painting the pots and the creation of the stand, they also develop skills in teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving.
